About the author
I'm Utah Hans, a programmer from Richmond, Virginia.
I write spy comedy. None of it is real — and I've never set foot in the CIA — but good fiction should feel like it leaked.
The series has a name for where the raw material comes from: Synthesisa — a fictional cousin of synesthesia. A synesthete might hear color; some musicians describe receiving whole songs. This variant delivers national-security events, fully formed. I write down what comes through.
The part you can check: the books are full of software and inventions, and after writing them, I started building. The results are public on my GitHub. The stories came first. The software came after.
I build software professionally too — that's at utahcreates.com.
