Utah: OK, let’s talk about what you are here for. What was the coveted Aliens briefing?
Utah: The Aliens briefing was first dreamt up by a guy named Louis. His name may have been spelled like Luis, but it was his idea. He came up with this idea back in 1952.
Utah: So, since 1952, the speech you get given by your briefing team/person has been something like
Utah: Congratulations. You did it. You finally found the right person to ask about Aliens. Here is the deal: I thought up the whole “Aliens” thing by myself, and it’s a massive recruiting scheme by the US government.
Utah: That’s right. You didn’t realize it, but you were the Alien because you were out of this world to get this debriefing.
Utah: I’ll put it into perspective.
Utah: First, people just signed up for the military. It became too easy that way. The answer was, “Go take a telescope and see for yourself.”
Utah: That pissed off a lot of people. So, the military spent a bunch of money on telescopes and cameras and being able to take pictures at long ranges.
Utah: All that research into telescopes was classified at the highest levels, so to get the debriefing, you had to be a general.
Utah: That debriefing was “everyone wants to find out about Aliens, but we’re inventing new types of imaging abilities to be maybe able to see what's on other planets.”
